Im John from West Palm Beach. I have been wanting a tube amp for three plus years. Got hurt pretty bad from work accident and all I knew was I wanted McIntosh, I didn't get the audio service at the time of sale I should have and brings me here. I am close to getting the funds to by a Raven Integrated, I do have a McIntosh home theather with turn table, cd player and B&W 804. I no know I way overspent and I have never been wowwed with my set up. I did hear a Mc tube amp after I went into the shop with a problem and when they fired that up I was pretty happy and pissed at the same time. So, I will be hoping to hear from Raven, I am curious if the Raven Integrated has home theater by pass and at this point , I could swap out my gear for Raven stuff. Proud to be looking at Madde In AMerica Products. Thanks for letting me join, John

Hi,

I am Michael from NJ.  I have been around for about a month and recently purchased a Raven NightHawk and CeLest speakers and I am very happy with them.

When I was searching the web for reviews of other components I came across adds for Raven Audio. I had not heard from them, but they seemed to meet my requirements.  I called up and spoke to Dave we had a nice conversation.  He told me about the package they were running that included the amp and the speakers as well as some cables.  Over several weeks I spoke to both Dave and James.  At the end of April I made the purchase and after a week or so I knew I had a system to stay with.

The system is smaller than what I used to have and at the same time sounds better.  It is my hope that if things go well I will be able to trade up to a BlackHawk.

Hello John,

Sometimes some of the simplest gear can be the best, and the best gear the simplest.  Raven Audio was founded by a true, once professional musician, and since then has been lucky to find only more musicians at its helm.  Within this fact you can rest assured of one simple thing.  All of us here know what music should sound like.  We believe that simple fact accounts for why our amps are the best in the world for the investment.  It is our primary goal.

We believe it so much in fact that we guarantee it!  Our audition period guarantee states simply that since we know of no better gear anywhere near our price point, we WANT you to compare our gear against everyone else's - and we will give you a full 45 days to do the comparison!  If within that period you think you have found something that better suites your purpose...  you can simply send our product back for a full refund (minus shipping), no questions asked.

Within that passionate offer is our only other goal.  That you feel safe investing in Raven Audio - knowing we have your back.

Finally...   you will find no fluff within our products.  There are no cheap added "extras" to be able to use as marketing ploys.  We offer only the purest of playback machines designed to do one thing, one thing only and do it superbly.  To offer the best playback possible for your money...  bar NONE!  And when it is time, we look forward to welcoming you into the Raven Audio family!

Hi, I'm Don from Dallas - Guess I skipped this step - better late than never.  I have been a vintage tube gear fanatic and didn't think it could get any better  -- once again, I was very wrong about that.

I bought a Nighthawk MK3 and Soniquil cables about a month ago and am total obsessed with the build and the sound quality.  My thanks to Dave, Bryant, and James for making me welcome.

Also I'm a tube-rolling addict from way back and it is a pure pleasure enjoying the nuances that a little tube rolling brings to the Nighthawk.

Greetings everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Carl Pierce and I have been interested and a listener of two channel audio for almost fifty years now. I have progressed through many stereo systems through the years, even building a pair of corner horns years back, from a speakerlab kit.

I still like the sound of horn loaded speakers and have a set of recent Klipschorns powered by a solid state Mcintosh preamp & amp. I did get into the tube sound about seven years ago with a Rouge Audio Cronus Magnum with a pair of Klipsch Heresy 3's.

I was interested in something new, so now I am waiting on a pair of Volti Audio Razz speakers, which should be in my home by the end of April. On the Volti audio web site I noticed information about Raven Audio and the products offered. After researching and learning about Raven Audio from Raven Dave, James and Bryant and of also all you fellow forum members, I placed an order for a Blackhawk MK3. Looks like about a week away from delivery, I learned today this amp will be a MK3.1 with many upgrades! I am very much looking forward to receiving this fine piece of sonic enjoyment.

I do want to say that I appreciate all the advice and knowledge I have learned from this forum, especially concerning the heart of the amp....the Tubes. I am excited to learn more about "tube rolling" and the chance to change out some of the delivered tubes in the Blackhawk with some of those great NOS tubes of the past that Raven Dave teaches us about. I plan to listen to the amp for a short while and then get into some tube rolling.

Thank - you all for sharing your knowledge and interests in this forum. I look forward to much enjoyment with the new Blackhawk and learning more about this great hobby!

All the best,

Carl

Hi to everyone on this Community forum. My name is Rodger Coble and I've been a member for around 3+ months. I posted a reply today and realized I never introduced myself. I'm Retired and decided to return to a 2 channel system before all my hearing goes.

Received my Nighthawk in mid January. Loving my experience so far and looking forward to this journey into the tube domain for many years to come.  I really like Dave chiming in with his knowledge and what others may be listening to. Anyone using Klipsch speakers, please let me know your tube setup. I've paired my Nighthawk with a pair of Heresy IV. What an engaging sound.

Be safe!

Rodger

Hey Rodger,

Welcome to the community. So glad you're enjoying the Nighthawk. I own a pair of the original Klipsch Heresy's and actually have them in my office right now next to my CeLest' Towers. While the CeLest are my main speakers, I guess for me the Heresy's are a little piece of my audio history. I've had them a very long time. Booth the Heresy's and the Celest sound great with my Nighthawk as well. Just a great combination.
